Some clichés need to go away…far far away…one of those is “the only guarantees in life are death and taxes..” It’s soo untrue and unhelpful. There’s so many guarantees…i.e everyone has those dreams where you’re running but you never seem to run fast enough. Everyone will experience moments of love. Everyone will experience deep desires for relationships. Everyone will prove how imperfect they actually are by hurting someone they know and care about, often the person they care about the most. That last reality is the one that seems to be resonating with our world the most right now.
